Throughout this school year I learned a lot about myself pertaining to who I am as a person and what I need to work on to push myself harder to achieve the goals I have set for myself. Being in Ap language taught me that every teacher isn’t going to give you an easy A, you’ll face difficult challenges and obstacles and you can’t procrastinate forever. However, I persisted the whole year and now determined to make newly changes to me and my life. I was a teacher’s pet and usually benefited from compliments on my personality to my grade. In my experience in being in AP language, my teacher Mrs.white did not show favoritism and treated everyone equally. With that being said, the grading she did was crucial†¦show more content†¦As a personal goal of mine to one day write a book, I had come to conclusion that AP language discouraged me that I wasn’t up for the position to be a bestselling author and featured in the New York Times. E ventually I had to overcome those obstacles in order to not fail the class. In order to not fail I had to push myself to try harder as a writer for my AP language teacher Mrs.White to see what I was capable of. Procrastination is a huge part in my life that I struggle with constantly. In AP language procrastination affected my grade horribly, and it took for me to earn a devastating grade to decide to retake or redo assignments in order to not fail the class. Mrs.White disapproved of late assignments and always stated that she can’t do much if it’s turned in late because she often gave us the benefit of the doubt to do work in class that i didn’t take advantage of. I was given multiple opportunities to correct my mistakes but it didn’t matter to me until i saw the affect it had on my GPA last minute.
